Ever since man first walked the earth, men have done their best to make musical instruments from whatever material they've had at their disposal.

In prehistoric times, 3-holed flutes and the like were used in our mountains and caves. Over time, the txistu has become one of our most important trademark instruments.

The txistu has to be coaxed to give of its very best, to express all the sentiments it holds within and which at times, due to other reasons, it has seemed ashamed to show us.

On this CD we have tried, both txistu and txistu player, to express all those emotions we have inside of us, doing away with all those stereotype images and prejudices which surround us and showing, at last, all the potential and real character of this instrument.
